Custom Fiori application on S4HANA cloud edition.

Hi All,

I have been going through SAP material on S4HANA cloud edition but could not get a clear and definitive answer.

How can a customer/partner develop a custom S4HANA fiori application and deploy it on to the Cloud? Is there some guidance published by SAP on the same.

Can HANA Cloud Connector (HCC) be used to connect S4HANA Fiori app on the cloud to the data residing in on-premise environment. I know HCC can be used within the same corporate network i.e. it lets you connect from your 'private' cloud to your on-premise system but I am not sure whether it would allow connections across networks.

Concerning extensibility: you are looking for side-by-side extensibility if you want to create own apps for S/4HANA Cloud. That is described here:
