I want to know how to generate the java thread dump in sap netweaver dual stack system , eg XI or CRM  dual stack system.

Hi Jacky,

You can deploy the XPI Inspector tool and when you launch this tool you can use example 51 (Performance Problems) from the drop down menus to select 5 thread dumps at 30 second intervals
The note for the XPI Inspector tool is 1514898
Please note you need to take these thread dumps while the issue is occurring

Hello Jacky,

you can generate it using the kill command at OS level or the SAP MMC directly in ht e server node.

Take care to not have the heapdumponctrlbreak parameter in place or you will created a huge heap dump file also.

See Notes 710154 and 1095473 according to your Netweaver version.

The dumps will be inside of dev_serverX and std_serverX, doesn't matter.
