NWBC is taking too long to load

Hi Gurus!

I am currently having performance issues on my SAP GRC live system.

Basically it takes a long time for the entry page to load before users can start using the system

Also, it takes longer than necessary to submit or save.

Users do not experience this issue on the test system.

I checked the system landscape and noticed the dev and qa have the application and database on one server respectively but the live server has the application and database on different servers.

Could this be the reason?

Is it a network problem?

Could you also check with Basis on reqd. "..timeout_alive..", parameter.

ask your basis , guy to update database statistics.

or go to DB13, and schedule update and optimize DB statistics.

I ran update on database statistics on mssql but did not see any change in performance.

Hello,

PLease get in touch with basis guys they will help you.

performance tuning is not that easy need to calculate and analyze lots of factor.

is it happening for only particular activity?

hello,

Yes, we experience the drag on nwbc html at login point. It takes forever for the home page to load before users can start working.

It also takes a long time to save or submit on the platform

could you please update index using brtools and update database statistics using brtools

The system uses MSSQL not oracle.

I have actually done update database statistics but there was no change or improvement

please add to compatability settings in IE
