SAP PCo and Kepware OPC UA Server communication

Good Morning,

I am trying to connect SAP PCo 15.1 as OPC UA Client to a Kepware OPC UA Server.

Server and Client are installed in different computers.

Firstly, I established the communication between the Kepware server and PCo client successfully configuring the endpoint with the three options (None, Basic128Rsa15 and Basic256) enabled. As the option 'None' is enabled, PCo is able to connect to the OPC Server and browse the tags.

However, I have an issue with the certificates when I try to use only the Basic128Rsa15 security police (screenshot 2). When PCo tries to connect to the OPC Server, the connection fails and shows the message "Application certificate cannont be found". Where is the problem?

Hi,

did you notice the tab "Trusted Clients" (see your screenshot)? 😉

You have to make the application certificate of the client (PCo) trusted in Kepware OPC server with importing PCos certificate. That should cook it.

Thanks for your response.

In the tab 'Trusted Clients', I have the certificate which was automatically imported by Kepware when I exchanged the certificate (in the 'Trusted server' tab) from the PCo client.

How do you export the PCo certificate in PCo software?
