Logical Components in Solution Manager for ABAP and JAVA

We are currently setting up Solution Manager 7.1 SP 13 for Technical Monitoring of ECC, MDG, GRC & PI 7.4 systems. In the specify solution step of Basis Configuration, we need to provide logical component names for ABAP and JAVA. Is it good to have the same Logical Component for both or should they be different?

Hi Dipyaman,

Logical component name is unique name in the Solution manager.So it wont allow to enter same name for both ABAP and Java.Please create different name and select respective product system.

Create the logical component in LMDB -> Logical Components Tab
