Adding a class in specific sort- CL20N

Former Member

Hi,

I need to add a certain class to a lot of materials, and the most imoportant part is that I need this class to be always first, which means that I need to control the sort item and to put it with '0'.

With CL20N I can do it, but for only 1 item. I tried to do a recording, with LSMW, of CL20N but couldn't.

I searched in google and found that a lot of people have a problem with recording of this transaction.

The issue is that I must have the option to enter the sort item, otherwise I could use CL24N.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Yael.

Hi,

Not sure if the particle Object is available. You could check it out. Try LSMW for Mass Update

Use the CU42 Transaction Code - Material Configuration Profile. Your problem could be the Sort Item Number might be different for Different Materials. You could probably try 00000 based on what your generic Item Number naming convention had been.

Hope this helps point in a right direction.

Thanks,

Hi,

My items are not defined for variant configuration, then CU42 is not relevant.

Thanks anyway,

Yael.
