New ATP check based on Lead time

Former Member

Real time scenario:

Currently 2 type are sales order used for a site and one sales order has ATP check with combination ZH & A for the scope of check is sales requirement, deliveries are checked and other sales order is a rush order which has different availability check combination Z9 & B for this manually in material master the availability check has been changed.

New Requirement:

Now the requirement is that rush order requirement should be confirmed by lead-time and currently, the stock has been blocked for normal sales order and lead time will be varied from 1 to 150 days and currently for 150 days stock is also blocked but now the stock should be reserved only for 60 days and remaining lead days stock should be considered as a free stock.

For example scenario: Stock:100 Pieces Sales order till 31.12.2016: 150 pieces Sales order lead time within 60 days = 30 pieces. Now the stock should be considered for ATP check = 100 - 30 = 70 pieces Now for Rush order 70 pieces should be considered and currently whole 100 pieces are consumed and in ATP it showing as Zero but now with the new requirement with lead time 60 days stock alone should consider for ATP check.

Please give your suggestion with lead time is there any way can we able to do any enhancement for ATP check.

Thanks and regards,

Saravana Ganesh

You have to try with Availability Check User Exit to achieve this requirement.

Hello Lakshmipathi

Thanks for your reply and could you please share some  user exit can we able to explore the analysis. Also let me know is there way in ATP  re-scheduling automatically after 60 days lead days any sales order stock can be rescheduled without disturbing stock reserved for 60 days  from current date ATP check calculation.

thanks and regards,

You can try with either ATP00001 or in Program RV03VFZZ.

Coming to your other query on stock reservation, whatever stock is made available in Unrestricted storage location, system will consider for ATP and accordingly, will allocate the stock depending upon the order quantity.  In case, you want to block certain quantity from ATP, may be you can execute MB1B and use movement type 344 so that it would be blocked.  Of course, in OPPQ, for that delivering plant, select "Available Stocks" and ensure that the "Blocked stock" is not checked.   As and when you need, you can reverse this
