Hi Experts,

One of my client has already configured DP module but they have stopped using it long time back.

and Now they wanted to re - use the same. Can somebody Pls. explain me what will the steps I need to take care while generating the forecast plan.

You can generate a forecast & show it to the user.

If it is Okay then you can release to SNP.

If configuration is already done, maybe below steps are enough.

1) Make sure calendar is set correctly till necessary future years.
2) Re-initialize the planning area / planning version to necessary history/future periods.
3) Check consistency for the planning area / planning versions (/sapapo/tscons).
4) Load sales history from ECC into infocube.
5) Load sales history from infocube to liveCache.

Then you should be able to generate forecasts.

Dear Pravin,

Set up the planning area.

Create the MPOS (Master Planning Object Structure).

Define the characteristics & key figure etc you have to to do.

Hi,

Everything is available.

I mean, they have  configured all data. Like

Master Planning Object structure

Planning Area

Planning Book,

Storage Bucket profile

Time Bucket Profile

Forecast profile

Macros etc.

and Invoice history also available from BW.  Do we have to straight a way generate a forecast and transfer  to SNP or there are any other steps I need to consider before TRAIN the user on DP
