set item type service by deault in RFx

Dear experts,

When create a RFx, the default item type is "material", but now we wish set one RFx type,  whose item type is "service" by default.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

Hi,

Please go to

SM34:

View cluster :        /sappssrm/vc_ht

-> Assign to Transaction Type
and check the hierarchy template assigned to RFx type, such HIER_SE.
Then click "Define Hierarchy Templates" and select the template and then click "Define Item Type Control". Here you may set the default item type.
