System without disconnecting CUA

We copied our production system to our training system and didn't disconnect CUA. We don' t and don't want CUA hooked to our training system. How can I change the copy(training system) and be able to add/create users in that system, without it being hooked up to our CUA system?

Run program RSDELCUA in the child system. Also remove the child system from the cua landscape via transaction SCUA in the parent system.

I don't want to loose the current users? Doesn't this delete all the users that were created by CUA?

i deleted the entry from the table, and all CUA functionality went away, all users stayed in the system.
