Hi all,
I am using Alert Framework since a couple of years now, but in most cases, the Alerts are raised when there is a temporarily problem with an FTP poll, etc, usually the FTP oll will be successful with the next or 3rd retry and I want to exclude those Problems from the alerting that the recipients can rely on if an Alert arrives it's a serious matter where someone needs to look at. In my perspective, as long as the messages are stuck in status "scheduled" (automatic retries), I don't want to receive an alert, if they turn into status "error" it should alert me.
Is there any idea how to solve this?
Regards
Helmut
Helmut,
For receiver channel you will not receive alert until message will be retried 3 times every 5 minutes (default option). So actually you will get an alert after 15 min.
For sender adapter, I decided to not use alerts (at channel level) due to "fake" alerts.
Regards,
Jakub
