XSLT mapping does not recognize escape characters < for < and > for > in SAP PO

Hello Experts,

We are in the process of migrating interfaces from XI3.0 to SAP PO 7.5.

Scenario: File to IDOC . 2 XSLT mappings used 1st XSLT creates the nodes(Header, Details and Footer) and 2nd XSLT is used to create IDOC Structure .

Issue: We are facing an issue in the 1st XSLT mapping. The source XML payload is not converted correctly .

I have tested using a sample payload in the Operation Mapping . The Output is generated. But the 1st node(Customer) displays escape characters as shown below:

This interface works fine in XI3.0 . However, it does not work in PO as in case of XI.

As the 1st XSLT mapping is giving an output where it is not recognizing the escape characters < for < and > for > . Hence the conversion is not happening correctly.

Has anyone encountered this issue in PO ? Please share your inputs on how to get this resolved.

Thanks in Advance,

Shreya Belman

Hello ,

It might be due to XSLT or Input XML

Post more details as EVE requested to assist further.

Hi Shreyaswi!

Wouldn't you please provide your XSL transformation code and source XML with data that causes this output?

Regards, Evgeniy.
