Hi Experts,

To do custom changes in Collaboration Portal can we copy the full standard code and do the changes in extension project.

Is it recommended or is there any specific reason not to use standard code.

Hi Vasantham,

you should of course use the standard code. But you should not copy the standard code: If you copy, you don't get any corrections from us into your code base.

By using the extension project, you can make use of everything that comes with standard but extend/customize it for your needs.
