Not able to add Serial Number in /SCWM/PRDO

Hello Experts

   I have a outbound delivery for a product that is serialized in ECC & eWM.

I am trying to add Serial Number under Serial Number tab and I am getting following message.

I have checked product is serialized and in outbound delivery field Serial No. Reqm = C. 

Serial numbers cannot be changed

Message no. /SCWM/DLV_SERIAL303

Hello,

As Katrin said, for the outbound scenario you specify the stock when you pick it for the outbound delivery.

You can predetermine the serial numbers for picking in ERP, add them to the ERP outbound delivery and they are transfered to the EWM outbound delivery, and these exact serial numbers will be picked. But at EWM side change of serial numbers is restricted in the outbound scenario, as you cannot just create them but you have to select from those you already have in stock.

This is true for serial number profiles 'B' and 'C', you can only specify those serial numbers at picking

confirmation, which you already have in the exact bin ('C'), or in the warehouse ('B').

For serial number profile 'A' you can specify at picking confirmation whatever serial number you want.

serial numbers (especially C) are added at the picking confirmation.
