SMP 3.0 Certificate Installation on iPad

Hello Experts,

We have installed SMP SP11 Server in Windows system and deployed SAP Work Manager 6.3 app to it.

These seems no issues while deploying the app and we got "I am here" message in browser also.

Also able to connect to the app from ATE without any issue.

When we try to open the management cockpit using IE(8.0), the cockpit was not opening and not getting any security warning.

With Chrome browser we are getting the security warning even after importing the smp_cer.crt file to trusted root certificate.

With Firefox also not getting the security warning.

But when we try to install the same SMP Certificate in iPad through Apple Configurator 2 tool, it showing the cerificate was not signed.

And we are getting the communication error when trying the connect the app from iPad.

We are using the SMP server host name to run the cockpit and in the app URL.

We have referred the below blog also but no luck.

Hi Roopa,

From your description it seems you have different issues with certificate on your environment.

Cockpit not working using IE(8.0)

Chrome browser not working

iPad through Apple Configuration 2 tool, showing certificate not signed.

We need more detail on what erros you were encounterred to process. Without additional information, we would not be able to help. Below are couple SAP Note that you can use as reference.
