PI 7.3 Dual stack - RWB-Message monitoring is not working

Hello All,

Im using PI 7.3 Dual stack , on sudden my Run tiem work bench level message monitoring is not working .

Rest of all application liek communication channel monitoring is working  but only message monitoring is not working .

If i click on message monitoring getting  belwo error message. Still all messages are processing fine without any issues.  But only thing we are unabel to view message log and message monitoring from Run time work bench (adapter engine) . Could you please help us what might be the issue.

Here is the error message  for your reference

500 Internal Server Error  --- Java. lang. Null PointerException  : Whiel trying to invoke the method com.sap.aii.rwb.core.XIDomain.getAdapterEngine() of null object loaded from field com.sap.tc.lm.itsam.co.ui.xi.msg.ximessagedetailed.XImessageDetailed.xiDomain of an object loaded from local variables this.

Hi Jain!

I guess your problem comes from PI components versions inconsistenсy. Check these threads:

Hi Bhavesh & Evgeiy ,

Till yesterday all components were working fine.. as it is our production srever all componets were working fine.. sinc etoday morning we are unable to open Message monitoirng page from RWB-Adapter engine..  But Messages are processing fine without any issues.

Bhavesh, Even Im unable to open SLD registration page .. any clue plz..

Can you check if the SLD is reachable? Try opening the SLD Home Page from the PI Server.

Also, check if any changes have been performed in the SLD recently..

Hi Bhavesh,

Yes , our SLD is not working  preprly , we tool a restrat of SLD. and issue got resolved.

Becaus eof SLD file system fill up all our Adapter engine components are not working .

Now our issue resolved. Thanks for your help.

The error points to the fact that the Adapter Engine is not registered and associated with the Integration Server Components in the SLD.

Can you go to SLD Registration on RWB and confirm if all 4 Components ( Integration Server, ESR, Integration Directory and Adapter Engine ) are registered and in Green?
