Solution Manager Notifications without LDAP

Hi,

I am looking to send alert inbox to just SAP users who are setup in SU01, which means if my SCOT is configured properly and able to send email thru SBWP.. shouldn't I be able to send the inbox alerts similarly?

Would like to skip LDAP configuration and just do direct email to the sap users. How to do I do this , because the document suggests that I need to have the LDAP configuration done as part of a pre-requisite.

Hi Basis,

Do you mean that you want to configure sending email within technical monitoring or business process monitoring? There are options for you to maintain recipient lists, you can skip LDAP configuration.

One email configuration example in technical monitoring.

But one thing to calrify, will this send to the persons email inbox? and ALSO to SBWP inbox? or either one only?

Hi,

Alerts will be send to user's mail box, but I'm not sure if thay are also in SBWP inbox.
