AUC Partial Capitalization

Hi Experts,

I have requirement from my client to partialy capitalization the AUC created through WBS to fixed asset, While remaining will be in AUC.

Business scenario is that client is developing a software and one module has been deplohyed to production, so client want to capitalize that amount and want to keep other in AUC only.

Please guide me if this can be done ?

Hi Prashant,

If you want to settle partial amount from AUC to FXA, Then use amount field in settlement rule with corresponding FXA with validation from and to period/year and remove percentage value and do the settlement.

Hi Mohammad,

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have figure out the solution for the problem.

I have created a Fix asset and assigned the asset in distribution rule. Now I have posted the settlement to AUC the same day First Module has been finished. After ward I have run the full settlement on the same day to capitalize the AUC.

Now I can see the posting on fixed asset and zero balance on AUC.

Now again to settle remaining amoun to AUC, I have run the settlement on current date, so rest of amount is now transfered to AUC.
