SMQ2 entries are in waiting status

Hi There,

CSA* in SAP CRM system entries are more than 1 Lack, when I go inside and look the entries are in waiting status. Entries are clearing if I unlock no of times the queue also.

I have tried to de-register and register the queue no of times and process the entries but no luck.

SMQR schedular status is active and group server is DEFAULT.

Can anyone suggest where to look the exact issue and resolve.

Thanks

Pavan

Hi,

Check notes.

1403974 - Determining the maximum connections in transaction SMQS

1887368 - tRFC process slow in SM58 and Max.Conn is not fully used in SMQS

Check the formula in the first note this can be a tricky subject in CRM systems.

Kind Regards,

Johan

Hello Nicolaas,

Those SAP notes are for outbound RFC processing (transaction SMQS) .

Hello Pavan,

Does the affected queue have a dependency ("wait for queue" field to the right, at SMQ2)?

If yes, the other queue must be processed first, before the affected queue starts being processed.

You can also check the RFC resources at the transaction SARFC.

Posting screenshots from SMQR, SMQ2 and SARFC would help.

Isaías

Hi,

Yes I know that but from my past experience it was affecting both our inbound and outbound queues and those formulas i.e. rfc counts had to be adjusted correctly for both the sqm1/smq2 queues not to have issues.

Worked through the problem with SAP AG.
