Configure SLD

I have never installed an SAP instance before......we are a new partner. I am installing solution manager for the first time. how do I configure the SLD....what parameters do I enter...thanksl

Please see the Planning Guide - SLD available on the Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com. Specifically see the Notes referenced in section 3.2.4, How You Can Handle Possible Changes to Your SLD Strategy. Note 936318 - Splitting an SLD instance.
