Hana calculation view aggregate type AVG not available

Hi All,

I've created a calculated view with bunch of attributes and measures. For the measures, I cannot select aggregate type average, for example unit price column makes sense when averaged.

any idea?

Hi Dick,

AVG aggregation type won't be available in Analytic Views / Calculation Views.

To calculate Average, Two options are there.

1. Create counter and Create new calculated column using the Formula:

    Sum (UnitPriceColumn) / Counter

2. Create SQL view, where AVG aggregation type will be supported.

    Then Create Analytic / Calculation View on top of the SQL view.
