QA07 - Do not transfer to blocked stock

Hi all ;

I have a batch that is exceeded shelf life expiration date. When i execute QA07 , batch is not transfer to blocked stock .

Stock is unrestricted usage.

Not in special stock type.

Storage location is not required Handling Unit.

Details : SLED is changed manually.

What can be reason of this issue ?

However i checked documentation.

What is the lead time ?

It might be root of problem ...

Monitoring the batch expiration date

If the batch expiration date is exceeded, transfer postings are made. The following requirements must be fulfilled for this purpose:

• The batch expiration date is exceeded in the opening period, this means:
  Current date + lead time > batch expiration date

• The indicator for blocking the batch is set.

The following transfer postings are made if these requirements are fulfilled:

• If the batch status management in the batch plant is active, the batch status is changed from "released" to "not released".

• If the batch status management in the batch plant is not active, the batch stock is posted to the blocked stock.

If the indicator for blocking the batch is not set, the system only outputs one notification in the log.
If the expiration date is not specified in the batch, an inspection is not performed.

Hi Mehmet,

Please share "QM view" and "Plant Data/Storage 1" for the material 9010158 in plant 1021. There should be inspection type 09 assigned and "Active" indicator checked. I think it should also have the below indicators active to support the process for deadline monitoring -

a) Insp with task list

b) Automatic Assignment

c) Check Char

d) Skips allowed

e) Automatic UD.

Please share the details.

Hi Arijit Banerjee,

I quess that 89 inspection type is copied from 09.

But, my problem is not creation of a retest inspection lot with QA07.

We scheluded a job of QA07 which run everday to transfer SLED expanded materials into blocked stock. In this example, backjob transfered to material into blocked. After that a enduser transfer stock into unrestricted manually. We hope that backjob have to transfer stock into blocked again. But, it is not done by QA07.

What is the reason of this ?

Hi M.Ozgur Unal,

The inspection type 89 is made available by standard SAP as manual inspection (non-stock posting relevant), whereas we need recurring inspection type 09 activated in material master, to run this Deadline Monitoring process, as that is stock posting relevant inspection.

Please can you check in table QMAT for this material, to find what all inspection types are assigned to it.

Hi Arijit Banerjee,

I checked QMAT table , material has inspection type 09 but 1011 plant.

We wait transfer to blocked stock in 1021 plant.

I hope that we have to maintain material qm view for 1021 plant & 09 inspection type ..

Hi Arijit Banerjee ,

Problem is solved.

When we maintained quality view of material master with 09 inspection type , QA07 support transfering of unrectricted to blocked stock of material.
