Hi Folks,

In our PI system we are using HTTPs for the receiver adapter with plain HTTP adapter. The vendor has a certificte chain with Root, intermediate and child certificates which need to be installed. Our connection was successfully working untill last week when the child certificate got expired and we had to install the update one. Since then we are not able to establish the connection. We have verified the cert with the vendor and everything is good with the cert. We have installed all the 3 certs in the Trusted CA and when we try to do the sm59 connection test for this connection we get the ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR. The trace shows there is a problem with the child cerficate and shows the same error irrespective of whether I install the certificate or completely delete all the certificates including the root and intermediate.

FYI, I have already checked the following 2 discussion regarding the same. Havent perforemed any ICM restart. Is it required in such scenarios.

Hi Kalyan,

An ICM restart is required if you have installed the certificates in the ABAP stack e.g STRUST, STRUSTSSO, STRUSTSSO2.
