Seeburger SFTP Adapter : Issue with resource Id

Hi Experts,

Just need solution to this issue.

We have cluster environment with three cluster nodes. We made one SFTP connection to SFTP server and configured resource ID properly. The connection works fine as expected. However the issue is that the other two node to which this resource ID is not allocated reflect these two error. The error keeps switching between:

i) Cannot create reservation, reason: Resource not available for reservation!; affected object : Resource (type:LOGICAL/id:APPNODE02_04/name:APPNODE02_04) [7/11/16 3:40 PM]

ii) Skipping polling, another polling/reservation for the channel is active [7/11/16 4:00 PM] ( which is not an error per se)

Can you please provide solution to this issue? How to keep the logs to "Skipping polling, another polling/reservation for the channel is active [7/11/16 4:00 PM]" which is valid and not an error?

Thank you!!

Saurabh

Hi Saurabh,

The resource id should be assigned to all the nodes. Please refer the Stephen Hipp response to the thread

are you using a PI-Server with multiple nodes (Server 0 / Server 1) ?

Cause if you are using multiple nodes, there could be a case that one node has picked up everything correct while the second node was not able to pick up the file any more and therefor produced this error...

If this is your setup, then you should specify a "logical resource" and refer to this resource in the field "Resource ID".

Second - you can also check how the resource id is assigned in seeburger workbench. Goto seeburger workbench -> Resource Management -> Reservations and check how it is assigned
