Sequencing with Product family group

hello Experts,

need your input on following requirement

A)Requirement :-

Using PPDS Heuristic, system  should sequence SKUs with product family packsize within 30 days horizon e.g. all 150 ml order should be grouped together, similarly 300ml & 335 ml. ( e.g. in attached screen shots)                                                                                                                           PPDS should also take care of change over time ( using setup matrix)      

Business reason :- Business produces all products family groupwise  e.g. 150ml together ( with different flavour of 150mls)

b) Planning book details :-

Planning book - Order situation after running PPDS heuristic & Sequencing in planning board

Issue :- at present you can see in below screen even after ppds heuristic and running sequencing in planning board

system have not grouped the 150ml , 300ml and 335 ml sku's order together.

Expected result :-

e.g. for 150ml  system should bring all order of 15th, 16th ,18th and 20th  together

may be on 15th,16th ( based on resource capacity)

e.g. 300ml :-13th 15th ,17th & 18th  should be grouped together and sequenced after 150ml 

may be on 18th once 150ml production gets over.

Please note that I am using all standard heuristic and in planning board all standard profiles.

please suggest.

Hi Nikhil,

Please find attached details

1)  Setup groups created for each SKU codes because there are some setup time even between one product family.

2)  Setup matrix details in System  giving you two page screen shots

3)  in addition to above Setup matrix in excel sheet just to understand from which sku to sku it is moving

just added SkU code

4) DS planning board profile

Hi Sam,

you would have to remodel the status group by pack size and use setup key for sku transition.
