Tables list for SLT Replications

Hi,

We are doing a test project of upgrading and migrating old SAP ECC to SAP ECC powered by HANA in near zero downtime scenario, is there a way to get list of tables for replicating using SLT ? currently we are analyzing based on delivery class and data class but im afraid this isnt the perfect solution.

Please help me with the table list for SLT replications.

Hi Naren,

Is SLT already existing in your landscape. Could you specify what is the source and target systems for SLT.

Usually, tables which are required for real time data replication and which acts as the source for information views can be pushed to HANA via any data provisioning method.

This list of SAP tables for SLT replication depends on business need and it depends from client to client.

Hi Pavan,

Im using standalone SLT system for which Source is SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 4.0 (Underlying database as oracle) and Target is SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 7 powered by HANA

We are using SLT to extract from Source ECC at application level and loading into HANA at database level.

As this is a test project, We have to migrate complete tables regardless of any module specific, but as you were aware that upgradation (DMO) modifies system tables by adding extra rows and extra columns, which we are not supposed to delete or replicate from source.

Hi Narendra,

To get the list of tables follow the below steps:

1) go to LTRC t- code and select the required mass  transfer ID --> click execute

2) Navigate to table overview tab and click on export option and select spread sheet.

I want the list of tables which needs to be replicated in SLT. As this is a pilot project, we dont have clients or functional team to define the table list for replications.

Do we have any ABAP report programs or any other criteria to get that tables list ?

Hi Naren,

If that is the case, you can pull all the tables that are required to build your HANA models.Its all up to the reporting requirement.

Since you do not have any clients and it is a pilot project,you need to come up with a requirement.

ex: if you want to do reporting on Sales and distribution then you can pull the tables that are related to the report and do modelling in HANA.

There is no ABAP report that can help you on which tables replication required.
