Upload Ruleset

Hello Everyone:

I connect a 2nd new SAP system to GRC 10.1. Will upload a separate ruleset with new ruleset ID (ie: GLOBAL-2) to a new connector.  In this case:

1. When uploading the txt files should I choose Append or Overwrite option ?

2. The files where I specify new ruleset ID (ie: GLOBAL-2) are the 9th & 10th files, is there any other files must I change ?

    a)  9th file is :  Risk Ruleset Relationship, for example

          B001     GLOBAL2

          B002     GLOBAL2

          B003     GLOBAL2

          B004     GLOBAL2

          B005     GLOBAL2

    b)  10th file is : Rule Set, for example

          GLOBAL2     DE     Global2

          GLOBAL2     EN     Global2

          GLOBAL2     FR     Global2

Hi,

Could you say, how are your risks differing from each other for the 2 connectors. as i remember, both your connectors are the same components, i.e ECC non-HR.

Also, only the 2 files, Function_Action and Function_Permission are unique to a connector.

Observe the downloaded files carefully, of an existing connector.

Hi Andy,

Please find the answers below

1. Use Append for uploading new ruleset

2. Rulesets are only specified in Risk Ruleset relationship and Ruleset file

Also make sure to add an identifier to Functions and Risks in your new ruleset if the same are used in your existing ruleset for easy understanding.(Example : B001N for risk)
