SAP Solution manager wily introscope problem

HI,

I am stuck in solution manager managed system config. step 8 as it shows error Introscope adptor host. and when i check on basic config step 3 it shows me error (Enterprise Manager solmon:6001 is offline . ). I went to OS level and check status in wily directory it was offline. So i start it with DBCtrl start but nothing happened. So i delete the /usr/sap/ccms/wilyintroscope directory and try to install again willy version 8.2.4 again but now it shows me error as

# ./installer.properties

./installer.properties[52]: Manager,ProbeBuilder: not found.

./installer.properties[177]: Enterprise: not found.

./installer.properties[209]: WebView: not found.

But when i installed it previously it works like charm.

pl. help me i am stuck from last 2 days and still no solution. I raise message to SAP but no answer.

I installed it properly on my system its version is 8.2.4. But problem is that i delete

/usr/sap/ccms/wilyintroscope directory because DBCtrl start not worked and status readily show offline. And i want to install it again , because after running 2 days properly its status is offline But now it shows me error as above.

When i run installer.properties it shows below 3 lines. but when i installed it before everything is fine.

./installer.properties[52]: Manager,ProbeBuilder: not found.

./installer.properties[177]: Enterprise: not found.

./installer.properties[209]: WebView: not found.

Please guide me reinstalling 8.2.4 version again which was working fine in my system before i

delete wily directory , should i have to remove it from somewhere else also?

Hi Vir,

As Ruth has recommended, why not install the latest Wily Enterprise Manager suitable for your SolMan?

In any case installer.properties is not the installation executable ... The note Ruth provided contains links to the installation guides.

The same problem cames in 9.7.1.16 version , which is latest. I think you all are not able to understand my actual problem. I readily write that i installed wily 8.2.4 successfully But after 3 days wily port 6001 shows offline , so i try to start it again by DBCtrl.sh start command it shows no response . Then i delete directory /usr/sap/trans/wilyintroscope and try to reinstalled it again and then it shows me error as follows when i run ./installer.properties

Now please read carefully what i write. Its not a issue of wrong files or new installation . With new version of installation which is suitable for my system is 9.7.1.16 version and the problem is same as above when i run ./installer.properties.

If problem is with installer.properties then i didn't able to installed wily 8.2.4 version previously on my system as i write above.

Hi Vikram,

Read the installation guide for Introscope carefully, the command to run are either of the following (from the installation guide):

I repeat ... installer.properties is not an the installer.

You are very much correct . But in 8.2.4 version this is the way. But in version 9.1.7.16 i run it

#./introscope9.7.1.16linuxAMD64SAP.bin –Djava.awt.headless=true

But the problem and error is same. Please help me to sort it out.

Problem solved. I run 8.2.4 version .bin file from root and it install successfully. I don't know why it was not installed from <SIDADM> as recommended by installation guide.
