Open UI Custom Control not working

Former Member

I've got the SampleControls.dll and I have them defined in the agetnry app field (external field section) and still they don't seem to act or have the colors defined in the xaml doc or cs classes.

What did I miss?

I also have the dll in the CustomControls folder in the client installation folder as well.

Are you running the sample app or your own?

I've put the control definition in my own app.

I would recommend starting with the sample Agentry app and Open UI controls together to verify everything is working as a baseline.  Then once you see the behavior move the control to your app and confirm how it works.

Okay, I will publish the sample to my server

Still seeming that the sample app is not using the SampleControls.dll in the CustomControls Folder.  I'm looking at the XAML MyStringEditAdapter code and from what I can tell it should look way different than what I'm seeing.  Any tips?

This is what I see for the Edit Extensions on the string.

Yeah, unfortunatley not what I see.

My Steps in deploying included importing the visual studio sample proj then building it and getting the dll then dropping it into the CustomControls folder.  Is that all that is needed for the sample app to work?
