Scheduled Background Jobs Failed

Hi,

Upgrade SAP Kernel from 742_REL patch no 300 to 742_REL patch no 417 and after that my scheduled background jobs failed with below error.

Server OS is AIX 7 with Oracle 12c and SAP NETWEAVER 7.4.

All DB13 scheduled jobs like check database / update optimizer statistics / offline backup failed with below error.

Job started

Job has exceeded its latest start date BT           513          E

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE 00           564          A

Tried out with reschedule jobs 2-3 time but same result.

If i downgrade kernel back to patch level 300 schedule start working normally.

Guide to resolve the issue.

Hi,

Issue resolved.

Change profile parameter rdisp/btctime value from 60 to 120.

Issue resolved.

Hi,

The job failed because it passed the latest start date

"Job has exceeded its latest start date"

Check if there are enough background work processes.

Also check the settings of "rdisp/btctime" parameter to allow all jobs to start at the scheduled time.
