SUM tool gives Document does not exist error

Hi,

I am trying to run SUM on our server. It is version SUM10SP16_11-20006540.SAR. The SAP HOSTAGENT is 7.21 sp14. I had to update the SAPHOST agent to 7.21 sp14 as the previous version was too low.

I ran the command as root ./STARTUP confighostagent <my SID>  to register SUM.

When I start SUM http://<; my HOSTNAME>:1128/lmsl/sumabap/LRN/doc/sluigui I get a login prompt. I put in my SAP<sid> user and password.

I then get the message "Document does not exist"

It is an AIX v6.1 system.

It worked in our DEV and QAS boxes. I am now attempting PRD and it is failing.

Any ideas?

Here is the sapstartsrv log for the SAP HOST agent. I cannot import text and so here is a picture.

Can you check if the issue is the same as the one mentioned in SUM1.0 SP16 does not work correctly | SCN

.

Also check the notes mentioned in the link;if the issue persists, can you attach the SUM traces..

I have seen the notes. Here is the SAPup  log. I cannot seem to be able to paste text into the document.  The one note 2262728 states the issue is fixed in Host Agent 721 Patch 11. I am at 7.21 Patch 15 now. I did another patch to see if my patching was the issue. The patch worked fine.

Hi,

I got it working. I used the IP in place of the hostname in the URL. SAP and our VPN sometimes do not get along.
