Access SRM catalog from R/3

Hi,

SRM - 5.0, R/3 - ECC 6.0

I can access SRM/CCM catalog from R/3. When I selected the CCM catalog line item from the Work Order ( Component field ) , I can see the material description and the "item category" T on the Work Order. System (R/3) created the Reservation number, but it doesn't exist (only number exist on the WO).

Now my question is what should I expect ? Should I expect the creation of the R/3 reservation for the material description ?.....it seems to me that reservation can't be created for the material/product group ( I can't create it manually)

OR

Should I expect the item category L (stock item) or N (non-stock item) when I access the catalog from the R/3 WO ?

Did anyone come across this scenario ?

Don't you have a error for the leading zeros of your material ID ?

Hi,

No error message related to leading zero.

The item category is T by dafult. I don't how the system gets the default category when I accessed the CCM catalog material.
