I'm tryng to install a new SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SR1 under Suse Linux 11 SP4 and Oracle 12.1.
On step 7 the process stops for Oracle to be installed .
It yields :
Software Provisioning Manager now stops the installation.
To proceed with the installation, install the Oracle database as follows:
Log in as user oracle.
Set the DISPLAY variable.
Change to directory /oracle/stage/121/database/SAP.
Set the DB_SID variable to SMA.
Start './RUNINSTALLER'.
OK . Oracle installed correctly and patched with SAP12102V3P, but sapinst doesn't recognize my Oracle software installed.
I cannot continue. It always stop at 7th step and prompt for the Oracle software installation.
I have read a lot of logs and everything seems to be ok.
Can anyone help me ?
Thank you
Dear All,
Finally we resolved the issue by OS level mounting.
Both the location /oracle/SID/112_64 and /oracle/SID/11202 were mounted and the installation continued.
ln -s /oracle/SID/12102 121
