SAP Lumira - Connect to Hadoop

Hello Experts,

We are trying to connect to Hadoop from SAP Lumira.. we need to know if there are any additional drivers needed for Connect to Hadoop and SQL on Hadoop..

Password option is greyed out and not able to type any keys as shown in the below file.

We tried giving the Host, Port and Username but not able to connect to server..

We need to know if there are any additional drivers needs to be installed for Hadoop connectivity..

Thank you!

Hi Varun,

I went through the steps that you have mentioned and gave the server name but password option is disabled for me...

I wanted to check if there are any additional drivers needs for hadoop connectivity..

Hi Sangeeta,

The password portion will be disabled during the log on. You would not require any additional drivers.

Currently Lumira can connect to Coudera, HortonWorks, and MapR. What are you trying to access? You need to give the right server name and preferably access Hadoop from the same environment.

Thank you,

Are you able to access the editor in Hue from the current VM and see the datasets ?

If yes, then try to use,

Database Driver : Cloudera Impala 2.0

Host : <HADOOP> , from your Hue URL : http://<HADOOP>:<Port>

Port : 21050

Thank you,

Varun Anand
