Lock Output File from SAP HCI

Please suggest how to lock a file in SAP HCI?

We have a output file generating from HCI, and placing it to shared folder and from shared folder the job is auto triggered to push the file to respective portal.

As soon as the file is start generating the auto trigger is pushing the data to respective application but the problem is auto trigger is taking two files..One blank file and other when the file is written completely.

So, can you please suggest how we can lock the file till it get completing written (to avoid the triggering of job when file is getting created with no data).

Thanks,

NC

Hello,

You can navigate to Processing tab in Receiver SFTP adapter and set the Handling for Existing Files  to Override then you will get option to mention temporary file name.

Below screenshot from SAP HELP gives more insight.

Make sure you are using eclipse with latest updates.

thanks  Sriprasad Shivaram Bhat for you response.

But i am using only HCI to map the configuration and it has by default SFTP no, also there is no option to override.

Can you please suggest some other alternative.

Thanks,

Could you please provide more information about how are you are placing the file from HCI,which receiver adapter you are using.

Since you have mentioned you are placing the file in sharing folder so thought that you are using SFTP adapter at receiver side.
