Student roll number update

In student life cycle management module, we have replaced the roll numbers with new one's using "ztc_roll_change" in EHP5 and verified the same in but0id. Its observed that the roll numbers revert back to the old one. Could you please guide as how to keep ONLY the new roll numbers active. Thanks and Regards.

I do not understand your question:

which roll numbers are your referring to? Which process?

How and when did the roll numbers revert to the old one? During an update or migration to a new EHP version?
