Hana Input Parameters not visible in Universe Design Tool

Hello Team,

I have created an Input Parameter in my Hana View and when I try to use it in my universe created in universe design tool, I am not able to see it.

However, if I create a unx universe I see the variables and I can consume it in Web Intelligence also.

My final requirement is to pass the input paramater created in Hana views to webi/ live office users as a prompt.

As we cannot use unx as a source in live office, I have to create a unv.

Environment Details:

BI4.1 SP05 Patch 7

Input Parameter is not supported with UDT. You need to use IDT UNX universe.

You have only option to go for Upgrade so that you can use UNX in the live office.

Apart from the upgrade, can you think of any workarounds?

I don't think so there is a workaround available to get the input parameter in live office with UDT.
