How to set Scaling Factor and Unit of Measure on labels on a Y-axis

Dear all,

How could you set the Scaling Factor and Unit of Measure on the labels on a Y-axis ?

For example, instead of "20K", I want to see : "20.000 MWh"

In the Prepare Room, I specified the right Dispaly Format for the concerning measure, however this format is not taken into account on the label on the axis of a bar chart.

Thanks

Hans

Hi Hans,

A few ways would try to achieve this,

- under display formatting of measure change the suffix

- enable the data labels in the Visualization

- in the Compose room, you have more options to modify the axis and the scaling factors for each individual visualization.

Thank you,

Hi Varun,

The Labels on the line are displayed as configured in the Prepare Room, but not the value on the Y-axis.

It should be a limitation ...

That's true Hans, we can only modify it to this extent. You can change the label of the Y axis in the compose room by placing the units in brackets.  But again we cannot modify the values to show the units.

Thank you,

HI Han ,

In case you are showing data labels , we can turn off axis labels in Compose room ->Visualization Properties to avoid confusion ! .

Thanks.

Hans,

I think this may be a bug.

I can get "M" but not "MWh"

The SAP Help for Lumira says

"If you're adding a character string prefix or suffix, the maximum number of characters is 256"

So it should work.

Could you just add it as a label to the Y axis as a work-around?
