Custom UI Elements

Hello,

we would like to create a new UI Element (just like BarcodeReader or RFIDReader) for Web Dynpro in order to allow the display of a sort of Applet (Java or ActiveX) in the clients browser that sends back some Data to the WebAS.

The purpose is a GPS tracking of clients.

Does anyone have any information on this or knows people who I could contact?

As a workaround: Is there a possibility to include custom HTML Code in a Web Dynpro (such that I could just include my Applet manually)?

have a look at this thread:

Sade enough, it's not possible to add either pure html or javascript to a webdynpro app.
