Hi,
We have J2EE NW04s SP14 and MI 2.5 SP14 also.
Our plan is to upgrade MI to SP19. Do the J2EE part also need to be upgraded to SP19? Or can we just upgrade syncservlet and webconsole?
Other then syncservlet and webconsole are they any other MI related components on the middleware?
Thanks.
hi Ezatullah
apart from WebConsole and SyncServlet there is another component NWMADMIN related to MI
NWMADMIN is an alternative to WebConsole and offers more functionalities than WebConsole
This NWMADMIN comes as a part of the Core Java stack of WebAS
Please read the SP19 composite note 977479 for more information

Hi Ezatullah Yaqub,
It is not recommended to use SP19 sync servlet on a SP14 J2EE Engine. Starting from SP16, Sync servlet has some dependencies to few configurations on the J2EE Engine. This is mainly for tracing improvement(Refer to note 919880). Hence kindly upgrade the J2EE engine as well to SP19.

Hi Ezatullah,
You have to upgrade the MI server to SP19 as well, you will find the SP19 composite note which will give you the details. For the J2EE part you can just upgrade the syncservlet and webconsole.
Hope this is clear!

Karthik
