Has anyone out there seen a Roadmap Composer? I came across one a few months ago, but I am unable to locate it now. Thanks!
Hi,
Roadmaps
The Roadmaps are part of the SAP Solution Manager. They contain the standard SAP implementation methodology and cover the most important aspects and phases of a SAP implementation. The Roadmaps provide links to accelerators and tools which perform project tasks.

How to create
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/09/deff3adfdd2a75e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
The RoadMap UI element displays the steps in a wizard. Each step is represented by a separate RoadMapStep Object or MultipleRoadMapStep. You can use various symbols to mark the start points and the end points of this UI element. Assigning the value more to the property startPointDesign or endPointDesign indicates to the user that there are other steps before the first visible step, or after the last visible step.
The RoadMap UI element is used to display step by step workflows. This enables the application development to display small steps of a clearly defined work process.

Hello Paul,
Prakhar already posted quite a lot of useful links reagarding the roadmaps in SAP Solution Manager. I would like to add a few sentences from the positioning side.
Roadmap Composer or Project Composer as referred to here for instance:
https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/48f4aa4c-0601-0010-4fb3-abc9042dac4b, for example slide 54 "Customized Project Roadmaps" is only available SAP internally and used by SAP consultants. So there is no need for you to search for this product.
The roadmap contents, however, are shipped with SAP Solution Manager and can also be modified by customers and partners using the Roadmap authoring environments (using transactions RMDEF and RMAUTH) for creating/changing a roadmap (see first link with respective online documentation added by Prakhar).
For the actual roadmap use (be it SAP delivered roadmaps or the ones adapted or created by you), you would then use transaction RMMAIN.
I hope this clarifies your question.
Best regards,
Doreen
Hi,
I have copied ASAP standard Roadmap in my own roadmap. but I dont want some of the nodes which are too detailed or not relevant in my project. For this I want to change the status of those nodes to not relevant.
I want to change the tabs in Roadmap. or in other words i want to insert one Tab in Roadmap definition so that for those nodes in Roadmap are not releavant I can change my status.
Suggest me the solution if you know.
Thanks,
Bharati
All,
Thanks for the info! I think RMAUTH will cover what I am working on. Thanks again.
Best,
Paul
