Schedule back ground jobs activity in the basic configuration of solman 7.1

Hi Experts,

I am setting the basic configuration in the solman.In step 5 "Configure Automatically", schedule background jobs activity was showing that jobs were  suspended and reactivate the jobs. I tried reactivating the jobs it didnt work. Because of the suspended job the "activation of the self diagnostic settings " activity failed and I cannot proceed further in the configuration. Kindly suggest me a solution.

Hi Shanmuka,

Did you check why the jobs are suspended,

normally if it is due upgrade you need to run report(SE38) BTCTRNS2 for releasing all the jobs which are suspended as part of upgrade process.

I cannot see any logs over there. Please let me know, if there are any tcodes to view the job logs

Are the Bg processes free or available in sm50...tried the report already??

I looked in the sm50, I dont find these jobs over there. But I see 27 jobs in waiting status

Hi Shanmuka

In sm50 you don't see jobs but process available for BG jobs to run....kindly check with Basis team for the same.

similarly run the report if not done post upgrade, do check with basis.
