How to restrict users based on department wise for search Files and Documents

Hi,

At the time of Creation of Files i have restricted the users based on department wise, but the users are able to search file and documents for all the  departments. How to restrict? i am unable to find the exact authorization.

Hi Rama,

While searching no restriction is provided, but while opening the searched file there is a Badi option which can be implemented to check authorization.

Badi method is SEARCH_FILE_AUTHORIZATION in Badi /PSINDS/BADI_FILESEND.

File related details are being passed to this method.
