SAP Help Library Configuration Problem

Hi Experts,

We have trying to install SAP Help Library,

Our server is Linux, we installed SAP Library using SWPM, created a file "saphelp" in file system. It down successfully,

After that using windows frond end system try to configure it. Using the follow methods,

1. Tcode - SR13

2.New Entry

2. HtmlHelpFile

Variant - SAP HELP FILE

Platform - WN32

Area - IWBHELP

Path - //linux server IP/saphelp/HTMLHELP

lan - EN

After this create Request and save , then go to HELP----> Settings------>Application help and select area.

After that trying to access SAP Help, Showing the error,

Can any one please help me to resolve this issue, i search a lot but cant find any suitable solution, awaiting for your earliest replay,

Dear Sajmal,

Hope you are doing good.

can you access the file using Start ->

Run -> Open: <file location>

Is this working fine?

Also check note 94849  SAPDOCCD.INI - description

Hi Hemanth,

Thanks for your replay,

I try to Access the file using Frond end system but it not get. But i shared the file in Server (Linux) system but i can successfully ping with the Server but can't access the file.

SAPDOCCD.LOG file shows "Could not read profile "C:/Windows/sapdoccd.ini", there is no file in c:/windows....

There is any different in Linux Server....?

Can you please help me to resolve this issue,

Hi,

Now I shared the folder from linux server using Samba,

Now i can access file from "RUN",

But there is no "sapdoccd.ini" file in C:\Windows, so i created a file with that name and added the follow parameters, but still showning the same error.... is it Correct...? Can you please help me, waiting for your valuable replay,

Please check SAP Note 2211014 - SAP Library overview page does not open

You seem to be getting the same issue. Also check the below wiki:

We have already the file "HTMLHELP.INI" mentioned in the SAP Note, and also the line mentioned in the file. Can you any other suggestion for solution,

Hi Hemanth,

In that Note saying the solution for

'Could not find file '<path to help files>\EN\00041279.chm' but our problem is "Could not find file "<path of help file >\EN\00000852.chm"

any solution for this, any other note... please replay,

Dear Sajmal,

Hope you are doing good.

The only thing I can think of is that the file 00000852.chm doesn´t exists in the DVD from where you are trying to install. Can you please check.

Are you using the right help DVD (for which netweaver version?).

HI Hemanth,

We want to actually activate "F1 help", if we trying to get F1 Helps shows bellow screen,

If we need "SAP Library for F1 help".....?

Or any other process is need to access "F1 HELP".

Hi Hemanth,

When we user Application Help from Help Tag we will get the following screen, is it SAP Help Library screen....?

But we want to use "F1 Help", is "SAP Library is need for SAP F1 Help", or any other setting is needed for "F1 Help".. When use "F1 Help" shows the bellow screen,

Can you please help me how to get "F1 Help",

Hi Hemanth,

I download the "Application Help (SAP Library)" from Service.sap.com/swdc.

I download under ---> SAP ERP 6,

our system is SAP ERP 6 EHP 7, Netweaver version 7.4..

SAP Help is available under , SAP ERP 6.0, ERP EHP , Netweaver 7.4...... Where is the correct location for me ? Can you suggest me ??
