Hello,
I just upgraded my existing SAP system from 7.01 kernel to 7.22.
Now, I have to create a copy of this system on another server but it seems that my Install Master (Inst._Master_NW_7.01_SR1__BS7_SR1) doesn't support package kernel 7.21 (721 EXT UC Kernel for SWPM SP9 - Windows on x64) and I did not manage to find another Install Master that could be OK.
Is someone has an idea on how to proceed for an homogenious copy of an ECC6 (EHP4) on SAP NW 7.01 with Kernel 7.21/7.22 ?
Thanks !
Hi Fabian.
Could you check the SAP KBA 1654937 - How to correctly build the SAP Netweaver Kernel Media

Thanks Gentlemen for your help.
I think I have now to build my own Installation Master

You can modify the LABEL.ASC file of the 7.22 release kernel with the kernel information what the installer is looking for.

Hi Richard,
Set breakpoint for sapinst with the command below:
sapinst SAPINST_SET_STEPSTATE=true
Use the kernel supported by your installation master, set a breakpoint point before import ABAP (you will see the set break point option after click next in the final summary page).
After reaching the defined break point, extract the kernel 7.22 to your kernel directory. Click next to continue after successfully extract kernel 7.22 and its patches.

Ning
