Display files in BOBJ

Dear experts,

I'm following this tutorial video Save a document to the SAP Business Intelligence platform: SAP Lumira 1.28 - YouTube

but through BOBJ I can't open it, I can only download.

Is there is something wrong with my Lumira for BOBJ installation.

Current version of SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform : 4.2 Support Pack 2

After upgrading BOBJ to 4.2 we found SAP Lumira is installed in Applications in CMC. so I assume it's installed on server.

And I've full privileges because I'm using Administrator user.

and I published these file from Lumira Desktop version: 1.29.3

Could you please confirm whether  Lumira Add-in for the Platform is installed on the server.

There is SAP Lumira in BOBJ applications as it's shown in previous screenshot. so I believe it's installed

Hi Ibrahim,

Would it be possible to upgrade your lumira desktop and server to v1.31. The v1.29.3 is slightly buggy.

Actually, Lumira 1.29 is not supported on BIP 4.2, so as Varun recommended, please update both the Lumira Desktop and Lumira Server for BIP to 1.31.

I would also check with the BOBJ admin regarding your permission to View or Read and Write.

Could you share more details, such as which version of BI4.x you are using, which support pack of BI4.x, is Lumira Server for BI Platform installed, do you have rights to view on the Launchpad?
