Hi everyone,
I'm after some guidance on the recommended approach (SAP best practice) for deploying SAP SSO Server within our SAP landscape.
We run a 4 system landscape [ DEV -> TEST -> QA -> PRD ] for a number of SAP products (aka ERP, BW ..etc..) and an wondering if you adopt the same approach for SAP SSO Server?
I can't find any documentation that states a recommended approach. The master guide and installation guides talk about the various SSO functions, but don't go into the detail of the System Landscape.
Any advice? Pros/Cons??
Cheers
Shaun
Hi Shaun,
you should at least run a test system with Secure Login Server. This is not mentioned in the guide, but it´s useful to test new features or patches. (And we´ll put it into our new guide, thanks for the hint.)
Better also run at least two independent (or clustered) SLS instances, for fail over and load balancing purposes.
