Hi Gaurav,

I've already read the SAP Note you've mentioned but I didn't really understood how to fix the problem. If you faced this problem before pls provide me step by step guide how to fix it.

Thank you beforehand.

Hello Arman,

SAP note is talking about to create system profile parameter in DEFAULT.PFL profile under \usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile

Add as below

DIR_PUT = <update directory>/abap

Hi Yogesh,

Thank you so much for your help.

I already have DEFAULT.PFL file in \usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile folder.

Should I add DIR_PUT=<update directory>/apap in DEFAULT.PFL file or in /RZ11 ?

Also which one is my <update directory> ?

this is my SUM file structure.

Regards,

Arman.

Are you able to find any "put" directory in usr/sap/put location?

If this not work

we need to follow SAP note as say below

----------------

1. Maintain the parameter DIR_PUT in the default profile and set the value to <update directory>/abap

2. Please make sure that the parameter DIR_PUT does not exist in other instance profiles. If DIR_PUT exists, please make sure the parameter has the correct value <update directory>/abap

This is due to the fact that the value of DIR_PUT read from default profile will be overwritten by the value in instance profile.

3. Normally, this setting will not solve the problem as the incorrect value of DIR_PUT has already been read.

----------------

It is necessary to reset the upgrade and start from scratch
