Activation of OData services generates Dump

Hi Experts,

We have a S4 HANA on Premise edition FPS01 , where we are trying to activate the Odata services:MDG_FINANCIALS and MDG_GL_ACCOUNT but while trying to add the respective Odata services, it generates a run time exception dump highlighting "An excepption has occurred that was not caught" Exception  "CX_USMD_APP_CONTEXT_CONS_ERROR error was raised which was not caught anywhere along the hierarchy"

Did anyone face this issue before? Any insights would be helpful.

PS: This is an embedded system with the MDG component as 8.0 sps 01

Please check if MDG business functions are activated or not.

I am interested if you already found a solution, as we are facing the same issue during service activation for the App MDG_APPROVE_CR. How did you handle the problem?

Hi Jonathan,

No, the issue still persists. The system has few of the MDG business functions activation however, the business functions related to MDG finance are not yet activated in the system due to business constraints.

That's one thing I am guessing which might be the cause for the dump.

Do you have all the MDG related business functions activated?
