Notification for SOST maximum size exceeded

Hi experts,

Is there any functionality in SAP ,which can notify user or team about maximum size exceeded(emails) as those emails get sucked in sost queue.

Hi.

You can also use CCMS (tcode:RZ20) to monitor the email that are stuck in SOST.

Hi Osvaldo,

We need  notification/alert to be sended to sender of the mail whose maximim size has been exceded so that he will automatically get notified.

In present scenario Basis team is getting mails of fail emails.

we do have alerting in our system for SOST failed mails and fax.

Please check below note to create a customized metric for monitoring it using Solution Manager

• 683974 - Incorrect send requests not in the alert monitor

In addition you can also refer to below note to change the default size limitation of the attachment through email:

• 837300 - Size restriction when sending documents
